Shipping & Returns

How much do you charge for shipping and handling?
Shipping charges are calculated based on the weight of your order as well as the type of shipping service you specify (i.e. cheapest, overnight, air, etc.). An estimate of the shipping costs will be given at the time you place your order. You will be contacted if the actual shipping costs differ from the estimate. What shipping methods do you use?
CableSalesCanada/USA ships each order by the most economical carrier. Our carriers include Purolator, UPS, FEDEX, DHL, Canada Post, and many other options.

Where does Cable Sales Canada ship from?
We ship from Toronto, Canada.

How do I track my order?
Simply log in to your account to view tracking information for your online orders. Alternatively you can call us at 1-866-222-1969 or email us at [email protected] and we will check the status of your order for you.

If I order today, when can I expect to receive my order?
Total time is based on the amount of time it takes to get payment authorization, order processing, and the transit time from the carrier. This can range from 24 hours to 5 business days for in-stock items.

What if my delivery is late?
Occasionally shipping delays will occur, especially during busy periods such as during the holiday season. Once we have released your order to a courier we cannot be held responsible for unexpected delays. Shipping times quoted by our website and over the phone are estimates only and are not guaranteed. If express shipping is selected when placing your order we can sometimes recover shipping costs from the courier. However, during busy seasons the couriers suspend their delivery standards, and will not issue refunds for late deliveries. We do not send out replacement orders for late shipments.

Do you offer international shipping?
Yes, we ship to all international destinations.

If I order more than one product, will I have to pay for shipping on each of the items?
Since our shipping rates are based on weight, the amount you pay will depend on the total weight shipped, not the number of items purchased.

What do I have to do to receive my order?
Most carriers require that a signature be provided for a delivery to be complete. This means that the package must be accepted and signed for by someone at your delivery address. If you are unavailable, the carrier will leave a postcard as to where your delivery can be picked up.

Returns, Refunds, Warranties and RMAs:

Can I return a defective product?
Defective Products: We will gladly accept exchanges on defective products that are within their warranty period. Scroll down for product warranty information. Cable Sales Canada will have sole discretion as to the credit method. We may issue a refund, credit, replacement, exchange or repair.

Can I return a non-defective product?
Non-Defective Products: Non-defective products will be subject to a RESTOCKING FEE. These returns will be for a refund or credit at Cable Sales Canada’s sole discretion within 30 days of the original invoice date.

How do I return a product?
There are four steps to returning a product:

Step 1: Call for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Number: If you wish to return a product, you must contact us at 1-866-222-1969 or email us at [email protected] in order to receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Cable Sales Canada’s returns will not be accepted without a valid RMA number. RMA numbers will expire after 14 days. Any return we receive without an RMA number will not be accepted.

Step 2: Shipping Your Return: You must pay the shipping for returned items. Cable Sales Canada will not be responsible for items returned that are lost or damaged in transit.

Step 3: Check Your Return: ALL products being returned must be 100% complete and must be packaged in ORIGINAL PACKAGING. All packing materials, manuals, CDs, cables, digital media, blank warranty cards and other accessories and documentation must be included in the original packaging, as provided by the manufacturer. A return will not be processed, or a restocking fee may be charged in the event that ANY item(s) included in the original shipment to you is not present in the returned package. Items sent for return consideration will be immediately denied and Cable Sales Canada’s return policy will NOT BE HONORED in the event that a return shipment is received by us improperly packaged, altered or physically damaged.

Step 4: Return Processing Time: Returns processing may take up to 10 business days from the time your return is received.

What are the warranties on my products?
Cable Sales Canada offers a 1 year warranty on all cables with the exception of fibre optic cables. The warranty on all branded products is provided by the manufacturer.

What is Cable Sales Canada’s limitation of liability?
The maximum liability to you for products purchased is limited to the purchase price you paid for the products. Cable Sales Canada is not liable for any property damage, personal injury, loss of use, interruption of business, loss of profits, or other consequential, indirect or incidental damages.
