General Enquiries:
How do I place an order?
- Once
you find a product you want to purchase, enter the quantity you wish to
purchase and then hit the BUY button. This will result in a shopping cart
being created for you. At this
point, you can change the quantity of the item you would like to order,
delete an item, continue shopping or check out.
How do I add items to
my shopping cart?
- Once a
shopping cart has been created for you, any product listed will remain in
the cart while you continue to shop on our site (i.e. your shopping cart
will remember items you want to purchase). To continue shopping, you can either browse through our menu
categories or use our search engine to find a specific item.
How can I delete unwanted
items from my shopping cart?
- To
delete an item from your shopping cart, simply put 0 in the Quantity field
in the shopping cart and click update.
How do you ensure the
privacy of my personal information and credit card details?
- Our
website uses the latest encryption technology to protect your personal
information. Our ordering process is completely secure.
Will I receive a receipt
for my transaction?
- An
invoice will be sent with your shipment.
What are my payment
options?
- We
accept Visa and MasterCard.
- Remember,
we do not charge your account until we have shipped your order.

on the website include taxes and shipping/handling?
What taxes do I have
to pay and how are they added?
- All
Canadian orders are subject to a 5% Federal Goods and Services Tax (GST)
except for those orders bound to Newfoundland, Nova Scotia and New
Brunswick as these provinces require the collection of a Harmonized Sales
Tax (HST) of 13%. Orders shipped
to Ontario customers will be subject to an 8% Provincial Sales Tax.
Shipping, Delivery, Tracking:
How much do you charge
for shipping and handling?
- Shipping
charges are calculated based on the weight of your order as well as the
type of shipping service you specify (i.e. cheapest, overnight, air,
etc.).
- An estimate of
the shipping costs will be given at the time you place your order.
- You will be
contacted if the actual shipping costs differ from the estimate.
- Shipping
and handling charges will be applied to all orders.

What shipping methods
do you use?
- Cable
Sales Canada ships each order by the most economical carrier. Our carriers include Purolator, UPS,
FEDEX and Canada Post.

ship from Toronto, Canada.
How do I track my order?
If I order today, when
can I expect to receive my order?
- Total time is based on the amount of time it takes to get
payment authorization, order processing, and the transit time from the
carrier. This can range from 24 hours to 5 business days for in-stock
items.
Do you offer international
shipping?
- Yes,
we ship to all international destinations.
If I order more than
one product, will I have to pay for shipping on each of the items?
- Since
our shipping rates are based on weight, the amount you pay will depend on
the total weight shipped, not the number of items purchased.
What do I have to do
to receive my order?
- All carriers require that a signature be provided for a
delivery to be complete. This means
that the package must be accepted and signed for by someone at your delivery
address. If you are unavailable, the
carrier will leave a postcard as to where your delivery can be picked up.
Returns, Refunds, Warranties and RMA’s:
Can
I return a defective product?
- Defective Products: We
will gladly accept exchanges on defective
products that are within their warranty period. Click here for product warranty information.
- Cable Sales Canada will have sole discretion as to the
credit method. We may issue a
refund, credit, replacement, exchange or repair.
Can
I return a non-defective product?
- Non-Defective Products: Non-defective products will be
subject to a 15% RESTOCKING FEE.
These returns will be for a refund or credit at Cable Sales
Canada’s sole discretion within 30 days of the original invoice date.
How do I return a product?

There are four
steps to returning a product:

- Step 1: Call
for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Number: If you wish to
return a product, you must contact us at 1-866-222-1969 or email us at sales@cablesalescanada.com
in order to receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA)
number. Cable Sales Canada’s returns will not be accepted without a valid RMA number.
RMA numbers will expire after 14 days. Any return we receive without an
RMA number will not be accepted.
- Step 2:
Shipping Your Return: You must pay the shipping for returned items. Cable Sales Canada will not be
responsible for items returned that are lost or damaged in transit.
- Step 3: Check
Your Return: ALL products
being returned must be 100% complete and must be packaged in ORIGINAL
PACKAGING. All packing materials, manuals, CDs, cables, digital media,
blank warranty cards and other accessories and documentation must be
included in the original packaging, as provided by the manufacturer. A
return will not be processed, or a restocking fee may be charged in the
event that ANY item(s) included in the original shipment to you is not
present in the returned package. Items sent for return consideration
will be immediately denied and Cable Sales Canada’s return policy will NOT
BE HONORED in the event that a return
shipment is received by us improperly packaged, altered or physically
damaged.
- Step 4:
Return Processing Time: Returns processing may take up to 10 business days from the time
your return is received.

What are the warranties
on my products?
- Cable Sales Canada offers a 1 year warranty on
all computer cables with the exception of fibre optic cables. We offer a 60 day warranty on all other
products with the exception of surge protectors as the warranty is
provided by the original manufacturer and not Cable Sales Canada.
What is Cable
Sales Canada’s limitation of liability?
- The maximum
liability to you for products purchased is limited to the purchase price you
paid for the products. Cable Sales
Canada is not liable for any property damage, personal injury, loss of use,
interruption of business, loss of profits, or other consequential, indirect or
incidental damages.
